THE REVIEW
In ZOMBIES GONE WILD 3 friends whose names are Randy, Marty and LeRoy are looking to use their Spring Break wisely....make an effort to score with some chicks! The embark on a road trip to find the best party, with a few misadventures along the way. It's not until they come across three attractive, but very strange females, that things begin to heat up apparently. The girls invite the three horny males to their party later on that night and without hesitation the guys agree to show up. What they don't know is that the girls they had met are actually flesh hungry zombies and the three friends instead of going to a party, are hopefuls to become dinner for the night for a brood of zombies.....

Ok, now before I watched this, judging by the cover art and how the plot was laid out on the press release, I figured this would be a fun little zombie comedy in the vein of the American Pie films. The film is low budget and is noticeable from the very first frame(in fact in a disclaimer before the feature starts the filmmakers even acknowledge this. The comedy I hoped to get from this film is attempted but overall it failed to even muster up even a chuckle from me the whole entire film. The jokes and situations presented in ZOMBIES GONE WILD is both Juvenile and routine, it is the type of stuff that only those under the age of 13 will find funny and amusing. Not only this but perhaps it is the film's characters that ultimately made this film a dread to set through(at least it was for me). Especially the main three characters, in which I have yet to see anyone remotely similar to them in real life, they are just to over the top and unbelievable - perhaps the way they are is meant to be"funny" ...but to me what was meant as funny was actually annoying.

If it doesn't already sound as if I was bored enough with the characters alone - it definitely doesn't help that the film runs for nearly 2 hours. So for nearly two hours, two hours that seem like four, we see our three nerdy characters drive around in their van spouting off sex and gross humor jokes, there trip is obviously routed in circles in some scenes and shot in different angles to imitate travel. This was a practice I guess to save on budget, I suppose, I mean many films have used the same location more than once (albeit dressed differently) but the u-turn driving as I call it used here is not only too obvious but ridiculous. This method wasn't the only budget saving effort as they have on actor that plays about 4-5 different roles, and they use bad sound effects as well. Having an actor play multiple roles is no big deal(hell, it works for Eddie Murphy)I have even seen it in other no budget flicks as well. But the things is the actor has to be good at it to pull it off, or at least not be annoying while trying - The actor here (don't remember his name) is just awfully bad.

I sincerely apologize to readers for my seemingly unenthused approach in this review, the reason I seem unenthused about this film? Well it's because I am. This film tries to be a SHAUN OF THE DEAD type of comedy...and although I hated SHAUN OF THE DEAD as well, at had a plot that was at least half coherent.

ZOMBIES GONE WILD is for the most part, a comedy, in the the horror aspect of the story is only 20 minutes of the film. As I mentioned the film relies on crude comedy and jokes even some of them in which are aimed at the disabled, in which I didn't find funny - Being disabled myself. The disclaimer at the beginning of the film also states that the easily offended should not watch. Well I am not easily offended but to use such lame humor directed at matters in which people faced with them cannot help, to put your already lifeless movie over with the audience is just desperate.

GORE METER
2.5/10 Cheesy low budget film effects, nothing special.

MUSICAL SCORE
1/10 Honestly I don't remember much of a soundtrack at all, spare a few rock tracks.

OVERALL IMPRESSION OF THE FILM
ZOMBIES GONE WILD is a film with a very thin plot, showing no real purpose that is poorly executed. To be honest there wasn't enough to this film to keep me interested as the Horror that the film advertises doesn't actually happen until about an hour into the film....and by the time it gets there, if you are like me, you'll likely be wanting to turn the movie off(I actually wanted to about 20 minutes in, but that's beside the point). In short the things that the film has to offer, are just not for me, as I grew out of immature fart jokes about 15 years ago....to put it mildly, this is probably one of the worst zombie comedies i've ever seen....
