THE REVIEW
With this film being a short, I have to say that I am much surprised with it! This film although only around 13 minutes in length possesses, a certain eeriness about it. The whole look of the film embeds a psychological feel into your brain and never lets go until the very end of the film.

The film, circles around a murder in which, George has viciously murdered his wife Cindy and then since fled the scene. A short time after "Death" arrives and he his not too happy that Cindy has passed on before he "took" her away on his own time. Angered and distraught, "Death" makes a phone call to George that will prove to be George's last as he decides it is time for George to pay his dues

This is a wonderful story, straight from the seemingly crazy mind of writer/director Christopher Alan Broadstone, he knows just how to tingle your horror senses. This story makes you thankful that it is all make believe! Chris uses many camera tricks that I have never seen or even attempted in a low budget film, shot on Mini DV.....simply amazing! Also accompanied by incredible make up effects, by Wendy Broadstone make this short even more visually captivating, Tony Simmons, whose acting was excellent, was transformed into this menacing being, that made his everyday appearance quite unrecognizable... This film had all the chills that you would expect in a full length picture, happy to say that I am very thoroughly both pleased and impressed by Christopher Alan Broadstone.

GORE METER
4/10 Not very gory, but I did mention this was a short, so this film had enough for it's time allotted.

MUSICAL SCORE
4/10 Not very much music here, but what it does have seems to work and fit in really nicely
OVERALL IMPRESSION OF THE FILM
I am really impressed with this director, he has what it takes to make it I believe... His stories seem to have something that most lack, and it makes it that much more uniquely special.. My advice, would be to give this a chance, I really liked the story as well as its elements.
