THE REVIEW
MR. JINGLES as it is being called again, was originally titled this and then later changed to 2 S.I.CK. to be an un related sequel to Lionsgate's other clown slasher. S.I.CK., with all honesty is probably one of the worst indie films I have ever seen, so I don't even understand how they'd even consider I sequel anyway. Well in the case of the film, MR. JINGLES, I really believe it would have made no difference if they would have used the 2 S.I.C.K. title, as the film is a very slight improvement over the original, but ultimately fall in the same boat.....the terribly bad film boat that is.

From the looks of the film, MR. JINGLES, is very raw and homegrown, with the worst possible effects and editing imaginable, if something is going to look this bad on film, then why even do it, some of the effects look to have been done by children and are in fact very childish(such as the use of a dildo, for one man's severed penis..... I mean come on now, we all know that they're not just one color) One improvement over S.I.C.K. that I can write about, is that is that in MR. JINGLES, at least the lighting is better here, which was one major complaint about S.I.C.K. I had. But lighting isn't everything, even with that, MR. JINGLES still has a lot of things that hurt it, one being awesomely bad dialogue. The dialogue for the most part is terribly written and when the actors speak it, they're so bad that it's as if they're reading it from a sheet with very stiff delivery, Often times in this dialogue, you can tell that they recorded the back and forth conversation angles in multiple takes, as the volume changes with each switch....I know this is indie filmmaking, and I know nothing about this process, but I have seen other indie films do this far less noticeably.

The acting, as I noted above is very stiff and green, very amateurish. Their lines are not spoken naturally, but rather recited instead. And what's with having the main actor playing their character at the age of 12 or so when they appear to be in their early twenties, and then passing them off as 19 for the remainder of the film? I guess a child actress wasn't available.... Overall, even though the clown looks much cooler than the one in S.I.C.K., it is still about as bad. The only thing that kept me watching, is the fact that I am required to, and to see how the film was going to tie up all of it's nonsense in the end, which results in the most predictable ending you would expect from the beginning....

GORE METER
3,5/10 lots of unrealistic gore, that is so unbelievable that you wonder why Lionsgate even picked it up...seems to be the never-ending trend however.

MUSICAL SCORE
2/10 Nothing but a few indie rock tracks are present, some of which are decent, but there are just not used enough.

OVERALL IMPRESSION OF THE FILM
Not even some nudity nor a cool looking clown could save this one. If you hated S.I.C.K. I'm pretty sure you would feel the same about MR. JINGLES, because, with this, you are in for the same thing. I feel bad for saying this, but I wouldn't recommend this nor S.I.C.K. I'll give it a 1.5 for the cool clown, that looks nothing like the cover art.
