PLOT
Willie has stopped his killing ways and loves lounging watching raunchy porn. It has been a while since Willie has heard from God, but when God reappears once again and offers Willie an Ultimatum... Willie must kill once again or have his precious porn banished from him. Willie has a decision, which will he choose? Will he kill sinners again, all in the name of the Lord or will he lose what he loves more than dead bodies?

THE REVIEW
Well, Willie is back in DEAD BODY MAN 2, only this time his adventures are a lot more funnier than the last time he "worked for God".
After seeing DEAD BODY MAN and not liking it much, I held little hope for it's sequel. Well to my surprise, when I popped this in I found a film that was for more carefully crafted than the last effort. To say that DEAD BODY MAN is a vast improvement would be a total understatement, the dialogue is pretty funny and hilarious, it did have me laughing. Such incidents as Willie's new found love for fucking chickens and dead bodies and how he describes the pleasure they bring onto him is just outrageous, this is something the original needed.
Basically, in the story Willie has given up the life of being a serial killer, now that he is free of God's demands to kill sinners and his evil Siamese twin brother, he now can enjoy the finer things in his life which is porn and chickens! Just when he thinks things have settled down God calls on to Willie once again through his porn videos, and he also sends his son Jesus whom is a stoner who bleeds. During this time, Willie thinks about whether he wants to resume his "career" or not, Many things try to sway Willie, even the talking head of Evil Ed... a victim he decapitated in DEAD BODY MAN, This film is geared more towards dark comedy which in the last film, even though comical seemed a lot more slow and serious. Speaking of pace, the pace of this film is a lot more faster and features a lot of sexual jokes that move it along nicely. But once again this film opens up, just like the previous one making a joke at the handicapped. I don't see this as necessary nor funny, and it seems that the film makers believe that the handicapped are all mindless, I am disabled as well and I seem to be doing quite alright I suppose. Other than that, this film is a lot more pleasing to watch.
Some of the effects here are better, but some remain cheesy such as the close up of the inside of Willie's ass and the talking head when the neck is exposed, but for the money they had it's definitely improved.
Mainly the best performance in my opinion at least, belongs once again to Eddie Benevich who returns as Willie, although I did feel he was overacting a bit at times. But in fairness I can't say that these DEAD BODY MAN films would be the same without him. Peter Blessel also returns as the now bodiless Irish serial killer Evil Ed, his performance is also very good and very funny, Watching he and Willie argue back and forth is possible one of the main reason to watch.
DEAD BODY MAN 2 looks like it took more patience to develop, although Cavalline does admit at one point in the film that do to him slacking off on a day of filming they had to film the end of a fight scene between Evil Ed and Willie that clearly starts during daylight. This all noted as the film pauses accompanied by a text warning notifying the viewer, ultimately this does not really hurt the film as it makes it all the more fun and comical.

GORE
METER
4.5/10 Surprisingly not as gory as the first one, this one relies more on the comedy, and it happens to benefit the film.

OVERALL
IMPRESSION OF THE FILM
I am pleased to say that this film surpassed my expectations. After not liking DEAD BODY MAN much as I have previously stated, it was nice to see that this film has a lot more going for it in it's favor. However some aspects of the film, much like the ones I didn't like in the original film decide my rating, such as particular effects. Even if you didn't like DEAD BODY MAN, whether you did or if you haven't seen it at all I say give DEAD BODY MAN 2 a look...you may or may not be surprised!
