PLOT
Helen is a young woman who inexplicably devours every man she has sex with.... Literally....Trouble is, she doesn’t want to kill them but it appears that a certain body part has a mind of its own. Burdened with this seemingly insatiable problem, Helen finds herself turning to the streets in order to satisfy its demands, though things get even more complicated when she eventually falls in love.

THE REVIEW
In a bizarre tale by Writer/Director Wolfgang Buld, we meet Helen. Helen is a very attractive young woman, but she has a problem, and that problem stems from her vagina, yes her vagina.

Due to some traumatic occurrences, she's always feared her first time. Helen longs to be intimate with a special someone in her life, but it just never works out. It seems that every time she becomes intimate with someone, they are mysteriously "swallowed" by her "man-eating" vagina - thus giving hellacious meaning to the term "man-eater". The more and more Helen tries to cope with her inconvenient problem, the more and more hungry her genitalia becomes, as it vocally urges her to "feed it".

Well, I can certainly tell you guys one thing, I have never seen a film quite like ANGST(titled PENETRATION ANGST elsewhere). Yes the hot and likeable Fiona Horsey from Buld's previous project TWISTED SISTERS is back, and again is in swat dual roles. At first the character of Helen is repressed and standoff-ish and quiet - but as her vagina gets it's first taste, it as if it gains control over her actions as she becomes a sex fiend, "swallowing" everyone in her sexual path - all the while she tries not to hurt her best male friend, Dennis whom has feelings for her.

This film is just bizarre all around, a vagina that swallows it's penetrators all in the means to eat - and the same said area talking is already weird enough, besides that, we have sex hungry siamese twins, and crazy over the top scenes. Two of the most memorable scenes being Helen's Gynecologist whom had drugged Helen in means to get a little action after work being devoured and all that remained being his clothes and a used condom, to Helen being tied up with one's head being swallowed between her legs while his body still being external.

To be honest ANGST was just not my type of thing. I found most of the scenes within to be although very creative, just downright comical and silly to watch. I would not really consider ANGST to be a Horror film, but rather a black comedy, as you can't really watch this without fighting back the laughs, and although the plot may have the eager young male minds out there believing that they may be in for multiple shots of Fiona Horsey's nether regions, will be disappointed to find out there are no such shots, due to some creative angles shot by Buld. Overall, ANGST is presented with a silly plot, silly situations, even worse acting(excluding Horsey) and not little else, so in the end all that is left for me to say is that it's just not for me, but may be for someone else at there...

GORE METER
3/10 Not very gory, a gunshot wound to a security guard and the blood spilled as Dennis tries to separate the twins with a bread knife, are all of the instances I remember honestly.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MUSICAL SCORE
5/10 some synthesizer tunes mixed with the hard rock tunes by the likes of Lacuna Coil(which happen to be the best part of the soundtrack and movie)

OVERALL IMPRESSION OF THE FILM
When I first heard of this film, I really thought I would enjoy it, but unfortunately I did not. The film isn't serious, and thus makes fun of itself through out, but the problem is, that I did not find the humor nor shock that was obviously intended....with that said, this is only one person's opinion, it doesn't have to be everyone's...

This DVD will be released on December 26, 2006.
